Design: Casa Miranda is Cecilia and Lasse’s own dream project. They have designed the house as well as all the outdoor areas, the casita and the pool. As they lived in Oslo during the construction period, there was a lot of commuting in order to keep an eye on the project and economy control throughout the process. With the help of family on site and experienced builders, the house was ready built in 2010. Casa Miranda represents their sense of relation between architecture and nature. Their love for simplicity is visible in the choice of materials. The white walls,concrete floors and black door frames, together with wooden details, provide a calm and comfortable atmosphere, as well as a good foundation for furniture and personal details.
